StengartenLA in West Los Angeles is a relatively new drinking/eating establishment. Tuesday is when a brewery brings some special beers in to try. Sierra Nevada was the highlighted brewery recently. Three of the beers that were tried are as follows:

1) Torpedo on Cask:

7.2%

This is a rare find. dry fruit, very smooth with the emphasis on smooth, slight bitterness on the back end.

2) Ovila

7.9%

True Belgian Dubble, sweet with bit of a barley finish.

3) Bigfoot

9.6%

Very surprised at the barleywine, hoppy, citrus with a sweet finish.

Sierra Nevada brews some very good beer. Full of aromas and flavour. They never seem to dsappoint!
