It’s a bit funny to voyage to a place called “Beer Bar”, located in Silverlake. No sign post has the name on it at the venue. One must look for the address; 2835 Sunset Blvd. Plenty of bottles of beer line the wall behind the bar. A line of taps have different beers as well. Happy Hour menu had fried freakin chicken. It included fried okra and backed beans. Antlers adorned the wall along with ‘buckshot’ boxes.

The dark ambience made this place quiet the mancave. Inclusive of a vintage bowling game.

I had a pint of Denogginizer. It was on tap.

It is a double IPA. The taste is caramel, and citrus. It’s appearance was clear dark amber with a thin off-white head. Smell is mostly caramel malt with some ripe citrus mixed in.

Beer Bar is well worth the trip.
