Skilak Scottish Ale - Kenai River, Soldotina, Alaska. 5.3%

Now after visiting Alaska a few times, I must confess that it is one of my favorite places to ‘get away from it all’. It has always been considered the last of the great frontiers, at least by me.  I had an opportunity to try this beer, as my beer drinking buddy (First Maat) was at the Reno, Canned  Beer Festival and brought this back for me.

It pours a dark amber colour, slight carbonation, sweet malty finish

Kansas 72 Bruins 56. Next Jayhawks play Duke for the championship.

As much as I enjoy rooting for The Bruins, my nephew goes to Kansas… so…..
