Recently I had the pleasure of attending the Pacific Gravity 2010 Summer Party. Upon entry I was overwhelmed by how many different beers were on tap. The home brewing folks certainly made some interesting concoctions.

The taps were over flowing in quantity. Certainly the mission was to try as many as possible. However I was under a time constraint. Tasting quiet a few: I took notes on 5 which shall be discussed here:

1) Arrogant Monster:

light hops, slight or even a whisper of citrus.

2) Old Procrastinator

sweet yet sour, flat, no carbonation, bourbon taste on the back-end.

3) Trappist

Citrusy, light hoppy, refreshing - My favorite of the event.

4) Mystery Beer

IPA not grown up? flat, no taste

5) American Pale Lager

light, carbonated, tasty.

I was certainly inspired by all the different type of beers. Stout to IPA and everything in between. Perhaps I shall attempt (once again) to brew my own.
